Description of Services:
Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for frail elderly and people with disabilities as well as those with cognitive impairments, chronic illnesses, and for people with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * provides specialized social, physical, intellectual and emotional recreation and restorative programs, including music, horticulture, art and crafts, discussion, Montessori * transportation is not included in program fee * transportation options can include TransHelp, Ride Connect
- secure environment
- bathing program for Sheridan Villa ADS clients and members of the community
- daily exercise program overseen by a physiotherapist
- group exercise and falls prevention classes
- foot care clinics and hair salon on site
- assistance with eating, toileting, grooming, and medication
- nutritious meals and snacks
- maximizes client independence and sense of wellness
- caregiver respite
