Eligibility / Target Population
For adults who are frail, living with dementia, a disability, chronic illness, or other conditions. Adults 18 years or older and must have a valid Ontario Health Card
Fees
Daily fee of $79.65 for short-term respite

Description of Services:
8-bed overnight respite care centre * supports Adult Day Services clients and eligible members in the community

Clients participate in recreational activities and programs during the day and are supported with their activities of daily living like bathing. Specific amenities and services include:

  • private bedroom with a private bathroom
  • 3 nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day
  • assistance with personal care and activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, and washroom assistance
  • medication assistance provided by trained staff
  • access to recreational activities and services
  • Registered Nurse on-site

NOTE:

  • Overnight respite stays require a minimum 7-day stay, with a maximum stay of 2 weeks
  • Respite stays are currently reserved for existing Adult Day Services clients but will soon be offered to the community
