Description of Services:
Provides individuals with rapid access to time-limited addiction care from any Halton Healthcare Services including three Emergency Departments and all inpatient units * clinic works in close partnership with Halton ADAPT

Services include:
  • assessment of substance use disorders and review of treatment options
  • medications for alcohol and/or opioid use disorders
  • overdose prevention education and take-home Naloxone kits
  • management of withdrawal symptoms
  • counselling
  • collaboration and referral to community partners
