Description of Services:

Cancer services are offered at the Credit Valley Hospital and the Queensway Health Centre * patients are admitted for management and care related to cancer diagnosis * there are beds for palliative care patients with a focus on management of pain and other symptoms, support for emotional and psychological difficulties and care in the last days and weeks of life

Inpatient services:

dedicated oncology inpatient beds
complex malignant hematology (Day +1 Autologous Stem Cell Transfers)
psychosocial services (survivorship and follow-up care * nutrition support * drug coverage support * supports for mental, emotional and spiritual well-being * patient and family education)
