Land and water therapeutic programs for those who may be:
- living with a chronic disease
- recovering from an injury/surgery with the required rehabilitation completed
- instructed to be physically active by a medical professional
Land therapeutic programs are include weight bearing activities to increase muscle strength, and seated to standing options that offer appropriate exercise modifications * water therapeutic programs are run in warm water, which helps relax muscles, increase circulation and space in joints * participants can bring assistive and medical devices to the community centre including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, colostomy bags
Programs are not intended to take the place of physical, occupational or other therapies * programs bridge the gap between clinical therapy and recreational exercise
Participants must:
- receive approval from a medical or health care professional to participate in programs
- be able to participate in physical activity that does not require the direct supervision of a medical or health professional
- be independent in decision making and personal care or have a support worker attending the program to assist in these areas

- drop in/pay as you go
- register for the class (guarantees a spot in the class)
