Description of Services:
Support for individuals and families caring for a relative and friend in their home, community or in a care facility * offer a range of community-based services, information, resources and referrals
Support Groups and Education Workshops - Supportive meetings
with other caregivers to share stories, successes/challenges, and coping
strategies * various topics including health and wellness, falls prevention, nursing home information, dementia, mobility, self-care and more
Emotional Support and Counselling - Supportive counselling is offered to talk through concerns, assess needs, help with care planning and solve the challenges of caregiving
