Description of Services:
Drop-in programs
  • meal program
  • clothing room offering seasonally appropriate articles of clothing
  • ID clinic providing assistance in applying for identification, including assistance to retrieve copies of: Canadian birth certificates (wallet size), verification of status (record of landing), birth registration, Ontario health card, Ontario photo ID card
Health Care Programs and Services
  • general health related resources and services
  • laundry and shower facilities
  • smoking cessation program
  • dental hygienist: bi-weekly wait-list system for dental care and education
  • foot care clinic: general foot-care and access to specific tests to assess foot health and nerve function
Crisis Outreach Services for Seniors (COSS)
  • on-call mobile crisis service for adults 65 years and older, with addictions or mental health challenges
  • partners include WoodGreen Community Services, LOFT Community Services, and South Riverdale Community Health Centre; see Toronto Seniors Helpline listing for details
