Description of Services:
157-bed long-term care home * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * basic and semi-private beds as well as a 22-bed restore unit (a program for people requiring further rehabilitation in order to return to their home in the community) * 30-bed Special Behaviour Unit specialized in Alzheimer's and dementia care
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs
  • multi-faith spiritual services

Specialized services include:
  • skin care and wound management program
  • falls prevention program
  • responsive behaviour program
  • continence management program
  • palliative/end-of-life care program
  • diagnostic imaging, lab, and pharmacy services
  • occupational therapy
  • physiotherapy
  • social work services including supportive counselling, discussion groups, advocacy, and financial management support

Services for an additional fee:
  • transportation costs to appointments/clinics
  • friendly visiting
  • foot care
  • dental care
  • hairdressing
  • dry cleaning
  • glasses and hearing aids
  • telephone, cable and internet (monthly fee)
