Description of Services:
Adult Day Services * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for frail older adults and adults with cognitive decline/dementia in a group setting * services support clients and provide respite to caregivers who provide day-to-day care
- semi-secure setting
- physiotherapy
- occupational therapy
- foot care services
- personal care including transfer
- bathing services
- incontinence care
- discussion groups
- arts and crafts, music programs
- spiritual programs
- day outings in a wheelchair-accessible bus
- special events such as birthday celebrations, entertainment and cultural events
- social worker counseling and support
- caregiver education sessions
- registered nurse support
- dietary assessments - variety of textured meals available
- transportation through TransHelp, Canes Community Care
