Description of Services:
Community Mental Health Counsellors (CMHC) in the Mental Health and Justice stream work with individuals who are:
Clients benefit from help with:
- homeless or at risk of homelessness
- have come in conflict with the law (low-to-moderate risk offence)
- have mental health and/or addictions challenges
Clients benefit from help with:
- specialized support to reduce involvement with Criminal Justice System
- emotional regulation
- risk assessment
- access to community resources
